What is a blackout period?

A blackout period is a scheduled time slot that allows users to take down an offer/title that is for sale and/or rental on a retailer's storefront.

 

Where to schedule a blackout period

In the STOREFRONT landing page go to Updates dropdown menu, click on Create updates (1.0)

How to schedule a blackout period

In Create updates (1.0), select a title, retailer(s), and territory(ies) to update.

Next, select the blackout option in any of the price field's below:

  • HD price
  • SD price
  • HD VOD price

Next, enter the dates for the blackout in the Start and End date fields.

  • For blackout period starting in the future, provide both a start date and an end date
  • No limit for takedown period of title

 From here users can add or deliver the update.
