To access Market Data Reports, users will navigate to the “Market Data” tab via the Reports Module:
Once clicked, this will take the user to a new page that outlines the current Market Reports that are running.
Instructions
To create a new market report, users will navigate to the blue “Manage rules” link on the right-hand corner:
Once clicked, a pop-up menu will load over the Market Data page that will outline the current rules behind the Market Data reports.
To add a new rule, users will click the blue “Add rule” link on the right-hand side:
Once clicked, the menu will reload with options that will allow a user to create and customize a new report.
From top to bottom, here are the fields represented:
- Name - Provide a name for the report.
- Providers - Select the provider of the data. By default, “All” is selected, however this will also default to the user's organization.

Retailers - Users can create a report for multiple retailers or create a report for a specific retailer. If no retailers are selected, then the report will consider all retailers. To select retailers, users will click the drop bar under Retailer:

Regions/Territories - Users can create a report that allows them to view data from a specific Region and/or multiple territories.
- If the user selects a Region that contains the territory, it will override that selected territory.
- However, if the user selects a territory outside the Region, that territory will be included in the report.
- If nothing is selected, then the report will be considered across all Territories & Regions
- If the user selects a Region that contains the territory, it will override that selected territory.

Additional: If none of these options are selected, the report will contain all options.

Sales Type - Users can customize the rule based on offer type.

Formats - Users can further customize by providing the type of content.

Provider Title / Retailer ID - This represents the specific IDs associated with the title on platform. Clicking on this option allows the user to search and validate the title in Storefront.
- Users can create a report for their own title(s) or a competitor's title(s), as market data is pulling from publicly available data that is cross retailers.

Sales Type - Users can customize the rule based on offer type.

Email alert recipients - Once all the report is ready, users will need to add their email address via the “Email Alert recipients” bar.
- Users can also add other team members within their organization to also receive the report.
Once emails are added, users can customize the cadence for the report to generate.

Report Interval (Start/end dates) - Users can create the report to run within a specific date range by adding a start and end date. Clicking into either field provides a calendar for when the user should start and end the report.
- The user can not select an end date that is before the start date.

Repeat - Or users can set a cadence for the report to run consistently.
- Reports can be set a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence and will produce based on the rules created in the report.
- However, the user must select proper dates that do not cause a conflict with how frequent they want the report. For example, if the user selects a Report interval that is for one week, and selects weekly, the user will only receive the report once as the interval prohibits additional reports after the interval is complete.
- Never means the report will be created once, and not generate again.
- Reports can be set a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence and will produce based on the rules created in the report.
Once the users set a specific cadence they can also select “include only new results since previously scheduled report” meaning the report will be delta from the prior report.
The user may also select “Generate Now” to immediately begin the creation of a report.
