  3. Once clicked and new pop-up window will appear and users can set up notifications by clicking the blue link “Manage rules” on the right-hand side.
  4. When users click “Manage rules” the window will reload to a list of rules the user's organization has created. In this window, the user should then click on the blue link, “Add rule.”
  5. Once a user clicks “Add rule” the window will refresh again, asking the user to add a rule. This is where the user will construct a rule that will inform create the Avails Import Notification alert.

Creating The Notification Rule

On the “Add Rule” window, users will be able to create rules for notifications to be sent out for various retailer EMAs that are sent to Storefront from their Provider.

  1. They must first select the name of the rule.
  2. The organization the user belongs to will be the only Provider available.
  3. For Retailers, the user may select one or more at a time depending on their needs from the drop-down menu.
  4. The users must also choose the applicable Content types they would like to monitor. Movie or TV types.
  5. Last, the user must select the user they want to receive the Email alerts. They may also select other users in their organization, however, those users must be registered in Storefront.
If the user begins typing the other user's name, it will provide a list of users with a similar name to select from.
  6. Once the rule is completed, users will select “save” and the rule will appear when users click back into the notifications or manage rule tab.

Going forward, the user will receive an alert for Avails that fit the parameters of the rule.

Manage Notifications

If the user wishes to modify or delete an existing rule, the user may do so by returning to the “Manage Rules” window.

From there, they may click the “Edit” or “Delete” buttons.

Clicking Edit will take the user to the existing rule's “Edit rule” window, with the input fields already filled in for them to adjust as needed. Alternatively, clicking “Delete” will remove the rule entirely.
